This London Fashion Week, the Global Fashion Collective presented its F/W 25 show in collaboration with Fashion Scout. Designers from Canada and Finland showcased their unique vision of fashion through fresh and compelling proposals. Expressive fashion, designed for the modern woman seeking distinct pieces to break away from the monotony of daily life.
Designers Alex S. Yu and Tara Kari brought their own take on contemporary women’s fashion, experimenting with unique silhouettes and reconstructing everyday garments to craft a compelling narrative through their collections. Their presence within the Global Fashion Collective in London captivated audiences, unveiling their vision for the future of fashion and society.

As a celebration of his 10th anniversary, Alex S. Yu presented his collection «Interlude 3688» in London, marking a milestone in his decade-long successful career in fashion. A graduate of the London College of Fashion, Alex S. Yu returned to the city to showcase his mastery and expertise in avant-garde womenswear design.
Born in Taiwan and raised in Canada, this designer has redefined contemporary fashion, infusing each piece with his distinct touch and vision. Innovating with shapes and textiles, yet maintaining a strong commercial approach, he has established a successful fashion brand that seamlessly merges creativity and business acumen.

«Interlude 3688» is a reflection on the memory of a past that never was, shaping a vision for an uncertain future. Alex blends elements evoking nostalgia and anticipation, embracing resilience in today’s unpredictable world. Ruffles, subtle shimmer, and sheer fabrics shaped this collection, marking Alex S. Yu’s much-anticipated return to London.
On the other hand, Finnish brand Tara Kari made its LFW debut within the Global Fashion Collective this season. Established in 2019, Tara Kari is a Haute Couture and Prêt-à-Porter brand committed to designing fashion that meets the needs of contemporary women. Sensual and avant-garde pieces are crafted with specialized textiles, prints, and embroidery, incorporating artisanal techniques to add a sophisticated touch to each garment.

In her collection, “Outraged”, Tara Kari reflects on repressed and intense emotions arising from the pressures of modern life and society’s expectations. An emotional outburst that refuses to be contained, giving way to liberation—expressed through textured layers contrasting with structured materials in deep, bold tones like red, nude, and black.
«Outraged» brought rage and repressed anxiety to the runway, symbolizing the current era’s emotional turmoil and the desire for freedom and authenticity shared by an entire generation.
